About Us
Robert J. Fitzsimmons
Robert has been an attorney in Columbia County for more than 20 years. He was a shareholder at Connor, Curran & Schram, PC in Hudson and a Shareholder at Fitzsimmons and Mills PC, in Kinderhook.
Robert is also the County Attorney for Columbia County, New York. There Robert represents the Board of Supervisors as well as all County Departments with legislation, litigation and compliance.
Robert currently serves as the President of the Columbia County Bar Association.
Robert received his Associates degree in Criminal Justice from Tompkins Cortland Community College in 1993, and his Bachelor of Arts degree magna cum laude in 1995 from the State University of New York College at Brockport where he dual majored in Criminal Justice and Psychology.
Robert received his Juris Doctor Degree, cum laude from Albany Law School in 1998. While at Albany Law, Robert was a member of the Albany Law Review, serving as Executive Editor for Legal Research and Writing.
